I've put together two looks around two different current trends ; the biker trend and the 40's Glam brigade . The jackets both have strong defined shoulders as is the current trend , the skinny belt with the stud fits in well with the zipper biker coat and the novelty Dior shoes add an extra bit of colour for dressing up the houndstooth blazer , giving us the fashion forward step for fall 2009 .
We saw this trend in John Galliano and Gucci for their Fall fashion shows , these looks bring back the East European traditional dressing and are very simple with intricate patterns and statement pieces of jewellery along with the correct amount of fringing .
The trend brough back floor length skirts , fringing , balloon sleeves and as we have seen almost everywhere large jewellery and novelty shoes .
Jimmy Choo's collection soon to be launched in select H&M stores , Designs have since announcement of the venture have leaked onto the internet . The preview tells us that the collection is very 1980's inspired with studded shoes and accesories and lots of statement pieces.
We saw the trend for Big necklaces and even bigger jewellery everywhere for Fall Winter . This was taken out of Louis Vuitton, that payed homage to the 80's with this collection , another addition that was seen was the playful bunny bow that Madonna donned in her ads with Louis Vuitton .
Think extremely fashionable travelling , I put together this look with the inspiration of Angelina Jolie (Mr and Mrs Smith) , Lady Gaga and Victoria Beckham . Each piece can be replaced to tone or dramatise your required look with each being an integral part for fall be it thigh high boots , big jewellery , military inspired clothing and the classic tote.
Red brings to my mind Vibrancy , Sensuality and Passion and this colour was chanelled into the various fall winter fashion shows , bringing back the glamour and elegance to dull economic downturn
